One licensed crew you can trust in your home — from the first walk-through to the final clean-up.

Shark Homes is a remodeling company led by owner-builder Jeff Schointuch, a licensed general contractor based in Wake Forest, NC. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms and finished basements — plus the media rooms, custom built-ins and whole-home renovations that come with them — across Wake Forest, Raleigh and the greater Triangle.

Because Jeff runs the jobs himself, you deal with the same person from the first walk-through to the last piece of trim. That's how a remodel stays on plan instead of getting handed off to whoever's free — and it's why our Wake Forest homeowners have rated us 5.0 on Google.

About Jeff & Shark Homes

Our flagship work

Finished basements that become the best room in the house.

Finishing a basement is one of the highest-value remodels a Triangle home can get — and it’s a whole build in itself: framing, plumbing, electrical, then the wet bar, the theater and the finishes, all sequenced by one licensed crew. We’ve turned bare lower levels into navy wet bars, home theaters and custom playrooms.

How we work

From first walk-through to final, surprise-free walk.

See the full process

01

Walk-through and honest advice

Jeff comes out, looks at the space properly and talks through what's realistic — the scope, the sequence and a sensible timeline. There's no charge for the visit and no pressure to take on more than you need.

02

A clear, written estimate

You get a written estimate laying out the work before anything starts, so you know what's included. If the scope changes once we're underway — as it often does on older homes — we talk it through before we act, not after.

03

The build — one licensed crew

Demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinets and finishes, sequenced by one licensed contractor so the trades follow in the right order. The site is protected while we work and cleaned up as we go, so your home stays livable.

04

Finished, cleaned and walked

We don't call a remodel done until it's genuinely finished. Jeff walks the completed space with you, sorts any punch-list items, and leaves it clean — ready to live in.

Where we work
