Dedicated movie rooms built around the screen, the sound and the lighting
A proper media room is more than a TV in the basement: the room has to be framed and finished for sound, the projector and surround speakers wired to the right spots, the screen wall built true, and the lighting layered so it sets the mood without washing out the picture.
Our own project photo shows the payoff — deep-navy walls, a large fixed projection screen, wall-mounted surround speakers, a tray ceiling washed with blue LED cove lighting, and a themed movie-reel carpet. A room the whole family fights over on movie night.

Built around the tech
Framing and finishes chosen with sound in mind, pre-wiring for the projector, screen and surround speakers, and the screen wall built flat and true — so the equipment goes in cleanly rather than being worked around after the fact.
Lighting that sets the mood
Layered lighting is what turns a finished room into a theater — tray-ceiling LED cove lighting, dimmable downlights and controlled ambient light, set out so you can watch in the dark or bring the room back up between features.
